These pictures illustrate some of the volunteer work, meetings, and events of Chief Mussacanna Chapter of Southaven, MS, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR). The first picture is at the National Guard Armory in Southaven, MS, where we support the United States military through Project Package, sorting items and mailing packages to Mississippi troops overseas. The second picture is a photo taken of our members at one of our meetings. Our organization emphasizes patriotism, historical preservation, and education. The third picture of the DAR/SAR float in the Veteran’s Day Parade shows our involvement in community events. The last picture was taken at Rosalie Day in Natchez, MS, at a state meeting of the Daughters of the American Revolution held annually at the Rosalie Mansion, an estate owned and operated by the Mississippi Daughters.
