Chief Mussacunna Chapter, National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR) was begun with the encouragement, direction, and support of Billie Fouche Breedlove, Organizing Secretary of the Mississippi State Society, Daughters of the American Revolution (MSSDAR).  On February 6, 2010, the Chapter was officially organized with Dorothy Van Hook Herron as Organizing Regent of the Chapter, and with 28 charter members.  The Chapter has enjoyed continual growth and is active in the local community and in the State and National Societies of the DAR.
